CEO Message

-A A +A

John Hill HeadshotWelcome to Alliance! We are a Baltimore-based non-profit human services agency that has proudly served the community for 30 years. Alliance is committed to helping individuals achieve their hopes and dreams through the process of recovery.

Alliance is known for its commitment to serving individuals most in need. With more than 27 years of continuous accreditation from CARF, the national leader in setting standards in rehabilitative services, Alliance is steadfastly committed to quality and excellence. As health care reform brings new opportunities to improve the lives of individuals who are often forgotten, my personal goal is keep our focus on recovery and continue to improve our quality of service, while leading the agency through changes in our community.

Through the dedication of our professional and compassionate staff, Alliance serves more than 3,000 individuals and families each year throughout the metro area. Our continuum of services addresses a wide range of needs among people living with mental illness and developmental disabilities, as well as veteran families facing homelessness.

As an agency, Alliance is committed to the concept of recovery. We focus on individual strengths and preferences, empowering people to achieve their goals whether related to housing, employment, health, or greater independence. Services are provided in the community. People who in the past may have lingered in hospitals, jails, or nursing homes are now living independently in our neighborhoods, as they should.

As you visit our site, take a few minutes to learn more about our programs and how they may be right for you, a loved one, or someone in need. Your donations, in-cash or in-kind, are greatly appreciated.

To your health,

John Hil,
