President's Message

Since my arrival at Alliance, I have been impressed with the dedication of our experienced and caring management and staff. I have also been impressed with the caring relationship Alliance personnel have with those we serve across all of our divisions. We consistently receive extremely high ratings from our governmental clients - regularly exceeding their highest expectations! Employers recognize the unique quality of our programs and the job readiness of our participants.

The outstanding marks we receive on client satisfaction surveys from those we serve directly in our housing and mental health areas are testimonies that Alliance is achieving our vision of creating an environment where every person matters, and fulfilling our mission to foster hope and opportunities for people with disabilities and mental health needs to pursue and realize their dreams. Alliance reinforces the fact that every person has choices. Our goal is to present our consumers with possibilities for housing, rehabilitation and employment opportunities that are their choice and that will allow them to move forward on a path toward independence. The individuals we serve, the families who love them, and the communities in which they live all benefit from our customized approach to treatment and assistance. Our 25 years of continuous certification by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) attests to the quality of our programs. The recent CARF three-year certification award cited “Alliance’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served.”

We serve individuals of all ages and backgrounds through rehabilitation and treatment in day and in residential settings, case management, vocational development, and employment training and placement. Armed with these new skills and support tools, those with disabilities can anticipate success and gain the confidence they need to achieve it.

The rehabilitation and employment services we provide deliver a sense of well-being and accomplishment that naturally leads to increased confidence and independence. That sense of achievement can propel people toward even higher levels of social and economic growth. Believing that you can overcome obstacles, contribute to the good of the community, and live a happy and productive life, is the ultimate goal of our consumers. That is the realization of hopes and dreams that Alliance seeks for every person we serve, as we create the opportunities and support their needs to achieve their full potential. I am extremely proud of our tradition of service to this community, and I am dedicated to Alliance’s continued growth and improvement in the future.
