www.mdlcbalto.org - Maryland Disability Law Center- MDLC is a private, non-profit law firm that advocates for the rights of children and adults with disabilities. By federal and state law, the MDLC is the Protection and Advocacy (P&A) System for people with disabilities. It has legal authority to investigate allegations of abuse and/or neglect and can help to address the problem. The mission of MDLC is to ensure that people with disabilities have full rights and entitlements as stated in federal and state laws. MDLC works with state and local public and private agencies to resolve systems issues as well as individual client cases.
