Combined Giving Campaigns

Alliance, Inc. is a proud member of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the largest, most successful annual workplace charity campaign in the world. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (9/1-12/15) support eligible nonprofit organizations like Alliance. If you are a Federal government employee or know someone who is, please support Alliance’s work through this giving program. Our CFC number is 14170.

Interns and Volunteers

Volunteers and Interns are highly valued at Alliance, Inc. where people come first. There are many educational and gratifying ways to “Get Involved” with the our programs and participants!

If you are interested in Volunteering to work directly with our individuals with disabilities, our working in our psychiatric rehabilitation programs in Baltimore County, Baltimore City and Harford County, we welcome volunteers to help in a classroom setting or at one of our attractive, neighborhood residential units.

All of the Alliance centers could use a hand with administrative tasks such as word-processing, copying or fund-raising.

Our Business Services unit employs over 250 individuals with disabilities on local, State and Federal contracts all over Maryland.  Volunteers may serve as job coaches or help out in the offices.

For students seeking meaningful opportunities for class credit, Alliance, Inc. has structured Internship Programs.

Volunteers and Interns attend an orientation program to learn about Alliance. They are required to pass a Criminal History Record Investigation and to successfully complete required training.
