Residential Rehabilitation Program

The Alliance Residential Rehabilitation Program serves adult individuals with a diagnosis of chronic mental illness.  The continuum is comprised of several residences with levels of care spanning from intensive, (24 hours, seven days per week) to general level, drop in supports in an integrated community setting.   Our residential sites are approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, a nationwide human service monitoring agency.  We pride ourselves in providing a home-like environment in which individualized rehabilitation programming is delivered through a consumer-driven process.

The goal of the program is to offer quality services and opportunities which empower people with disabilities to achieve social and economic growth.
Examples of services offered through the residential program are;

  • independent living skills training
  • socialization skills training
  • medication monitoring
  • mobility training
  • support services as needed for entitlements and case management
  • substance abuse/MISA Services.

HOW TO APPLY:

All referrals for residential services should be sent to the Core Service Agency (CSA) in your county/city.  They will prioritize referrals to the Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP) as openings are available.   Each referral will be screened and individually assessed.

COST OF CARE:

When a consumer is accepted for placement, cost of care is all inclusive.  The amount of money paid for this care is dependent upon each individual consumer’s insurance and income.   Services include, but are not limited to;

  • Telephone use
  • Electric
  • Water
  • Transportation
  • Household furnishings
  • Supervision
  • Basic residence fee (rent or mortgage costs, insurance).

When a consumer has reached his/her goals, is satisfied with their rehabilitation progress and the treatment team is in agreement, recommendation for independent living outside of the residential program is warranted.  RRP staff assists in applying for low income housing options and provides off-site supports as requested by the resident.
